Welcome to my blog!

My name is Blair. I'm a 25 year old woman living on the west coast with a weakness for obsessing over completing games like the one this blog is focused on: Animal Crossing New Leaf.

This blog will chronicle my attempts to perfect ACNL, specifically my personal goal of obtaining all of Phineas's badges. I will offer my experiences as well as any tips and strategies I use.

My reason for starting the blog is that I've been having a hard time finding certain information and I thought maybe other people searching for tips might come across it. Also I like to write and figured it would be fun to chronicle my journey!

I started playing ACNL back in December of 2013 with varying amounts of free time to do so.

Disclaimers:
- I am not against "Time Travel" (changing the time on your 3DS to affect the time in the game) and do use it to help myself complete the game. Some of my strategies might involve the use of this. I don't consider this cheating but some people do; do what feels right to you.

- I am against the exploitation of glitches (the "duplication glitch" for example) and cheat devices like the Action Replay. Some people are not. This blog is not trying to tell people what they can and can't do.

- I have access to two 3DS's and two game cartridges with separate files going on. I do use the secondary town to benefit my main file. This is not possible for everyone, though my strategies will probably include its use. Some people may consider this cheating. Personally, having paid for both copies and having to manage both, I don't. Do whatever you like. :)
